This week we are highlighting Lauren Ennis and her debut kids novel "A Boy's Best Comrade" 

A Boy's Best Comrade is told from the dog's point of view and is the story of a boy and his dog as they navigate a world during war on their own. While the topic is heavy there is plenty of shenanigans. 

We also discuss Lauren's transition from writing Screen Plays to writing her debut novel.
